Federico García Lorca, Antonio Machado, Rafael Alberti...

A mí me

REVIEW OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL
ISUM'S NEWS!
REVIEW OF "A CHRISTMAS CAROL"
Last Monday was the premiere of the well-known classic, "A Christmas Carol". There was not an empty seat in the theatre, and the audience was very excited to see the story of Mr. Scrooge.
The play was about a man called Scrooge who didn't like Christmas and was miserable. But one year the night before Christmas he received the visit of three spirits and he realized that Christmas is a happy time in which you have to spend time with your family and that he had to be kinder.
The actors were really good. One of the best things about their interpretation was the accent that they did. The script was funny but with some emotional parts when you could connect with the characters. The costumes they wore helped you to put in situation, and the scenery was very creative.
The music was one of the funniest things of the play. There was a spirit that sang a Lady Gaga song, and all the public started to sing.
It is a very recommendable play for all ages!
INTERVIEW TO "THE PRESENT GHOST"
-Interviewer: Hi, we are here with the present ghost. How are you?
-Present Ghost: I'm fine, thanks.
-I: Are you a Lady Gaga fan?
-P.G: Yes, of course! I'm her fan since I was little.
-I: Do you think that you have things in common with her?
-P.G: Did you notice it too?! People even confuse us in the street!
-I: And tell me, how was Scrooge when you visited him?
-P.G: At first, he was a little bit old-fashioned and bitter, but then he came out of his shell and he became less bitter.
-I: Do you think that Scrooge has changed in some way?
-P.G: I really think so!
-I: And the last question is, how would you describe yourself?
-P.G: Well, in my opinion I'm really fashionable and cool, pretty and cute, I'm perfect!
-I: Okay… Bye!
-P.G: Bye!

PLAY "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" BY CHARLES DICKENS
Sa&Ma News
The Christmas´ ghost...
Yesterday ,16th November 2015, I went to the theatre to see a Christmas Carol. Now I am prepared for Chritsmas 2016 .Christmas Carol tells us the story of Mr. Scrooge, an old very greedy man that doesn´t like Christmas and we will see how his life will be if he goes on like this. In my opinion the plot is complicated because the present, the past and the future are mixed but it is easy to understand it .
The actors that appear in this act appear Mr. Scrooge , his nephew , his nephew´s wife , Tiny Tim , and his dead friend as a ghost . All of them acted very well and they are very credible but my favourite actor was Mr. Scrooge because he achieved to change my emotions about him.
The script isn´t too complicated because the three moments are based in the same fact: Christmas´s Day . At the same time the costumes aren´t spectacular either because the protagonist is always in pajamas and the rest of the characters are poor people and their clothes are basics, however the ghost´s costume had my attention because they dressed like a pop star the present´s ghost and with a cut head the ghost of the future.
By the way, we can say that the scenery was very simple , two little houses appear, made of cardboard that areopen and they are the Mr. Scrooge´s factory and his nephews´ house. I think that they must work on the scenery and develop it more.
Undoubtedly , the music was the part that I liked most. In the present we listened to a Bad Romance of Lady Gaga, I love it and in the future act we heard terrifying music that really scared me.
Totally recommended this two hours that transmit you that beautiful feeling of Christmas .

And now, I´m going to do an intervew to the ghost of the future:
-Hello , ghost of the future. I´m Maria, can I ask you some questions?
-Ok. Can you tell me why you went to the future and showed Scrooge his tomb ?
-To show him how his behavior hurt other people, for example, Tiny Tim , who died because of him.
-And what did he do ?
-He started to think of all what he did and all the things he did to his family .
-And then ?
- He saw that nobody missed him but the only one that wanted to do a funeral to him was his nephew, although Scrooge had done horrible things to his family .
-and did he rethink of all the things he did in the past ?
-Of course he did, the following day he was a different person and gave his nephew the money that he had to pay to him and now he appreciated life much more.
- That´s great ! thank you very much for coming .
- Bye .

Parque Juan Carlos I de Madrid
